The videos showing finials are always popular. Another two of these to replicate. The previous pair I videoed. These particular finials I would usually use a small storyboard and gauge for the ball diameter but just being a bit of a show off, in response to a few comments saying " You can't make another the same like that!" l didn’t use anything other than the tool width to gauge transitional points. I would normally use a gouge for the coves but turning them with the skew creates more interest.
