Technically speaking a doodle is something you draw while you’re not thinking, it’s the thing your hand makes while your mind is elsewhere. I love the term doodle because it implies something quirky, whimsical and imperfect. My one tip for creating a sketchbook page of doodles that look cohesive, is simply to choose your colour palette ahead of time.
