Day 1 of creating my ceramic, kitchen mural 🌸 With my garden mural drying, I couldn’t resist starting another one, this time for the kitchen. It will live indoors, so I’m using earthenware clay and a few lessons learned from the last project. I’m building it around the doorway and decided to use the existing wood panelling from the adjacent living room as part of the design. I recreated the upper rail profile using a traditional moulding technique, then let the clay take over, growing and twist
