It’s great that the government are planning 250 neighbourhood health centres. But if these to are be built with the private sector, we have to avoid the mistakes of PFI. New models alone aren’t enough. We need to raise civil service skills in negotiating and managing contracts. My questions to Wes Streeting and NHS heads yesterday.
