A fire broke out at a three-storey building housing a meat wholesaler on the morning of Jan 9 in Osaka's Naniwa Ward, near the famous Tsukentaku Tower. Around 30 fire trucks and other vehicles were reportedly dispatched to extinguish the blaze after an emergency call was made at 10.40am, and all employees of the building reportedly evacuated safely.
