My first very big 620 of 2026 arriving in Napier very early today with a very big train of containers, 1 empty container wagon with 2 generators, more containers and 6 curtainsider wagons. 9544 and 9469 providing the power to Napier. It was 593 metres long and 1104 tonnes. Thanks to the friendly loco driver who gave me a friendly wave as 620 got closer to me. It was definitely worth waiting for even though it was very hot 🔥 and windy here in Napier today. It would have been a good train to foll
