Since 2019, we have partnered with the Museum of Work & Culture to present an annual Homeschool Education Series which offers 4 free events between October and April of each year. Each bi-monthly visit presents a new perspective of Rhode Island's industrial history. Students spend an hour at the museum focusing only on the exhibit presented, followed by an hour at the library. At the library students engage in meaningful activities meant to reiterate concepts presented at the museum, solidifying

The Woonsocket Harris Public Library and the Museum of Work and Culture of the Rhode Island Historical Society continue their Homeschool Education Series: Global Holiday Traditions. At the library, students collect their passport to begin an adventure through many of the world’s winter holidays.
