🔥 Fire cupping uses heat to create a negative pressure (vacuum) inside glass or bamboo cups. A flame is quickly introduced into the cup to heat the air, then removed immediately before placing the cup on the skin. As the air inside the cup cools rapidly, it contracts—this creates a suction effect that draws the skin and superficial muscle layer into the cup.
