People in parts of Phoenix could see what resembles military activity, according to police, as a training exercise is taking place from now until February.
President Trump was reportedly outraged over the deployment of European troops to Greenland over the weekend for military exercises that some government officials believe may have escalated tensions between the US and Europe.
The Phoenix Police Department advised that these exercises are not immigration enforcement.
Exercises are being carried out Jan. 21 and Feb. 13 at locations owned by Phoenix and will primarily happen during the evening and night.
