The 2026 Grammy Awards Premiere Ceremony saw 86 golden gramophones handed out. Many Nashville artists won big.

Kentuckians Tyler Childers and Chris Stapleton both won Grammy awards this year. Jackson, who renegotiated and extended his contract with Memphis over the summer, is locked in for an additional three seasons at over $151 million.

Bryson Tiller, Chris Stapleton, Tyler Childers and more Kentucky and Southern Indiana artists are headed to the 2026 Grammy Awards.

Childers and Stapleton actually competed against each other in three Grammy categories, including the ones each artist won in. Childers won over “A Song to Sing,” a work Stapleton co-wrote (and recorded as a duet) with Miranda Lambert for Best Country Song. Stapleton won over Childers’ “Nose on the Grindstone” for Best Country Solo Performance.
