Storm Team4 has developed a short science lesson that can be used by schools and educational organizations to explain what causes severe weather, how clouds form and much more.

The Barry County Office of Emergency Management will host a pair of weather spotting classes on Feb. 7 and Feb. 24, aimed at informing not only first responders, but also the public, on how they can spot dangerous weather and what to do when it occurs.

Winter weather is here. It's unclear how much snow or ice the Memphis area will get, but the National Weather Service has said weather is expected to be severe and that the impact of the storm could linger,
