Rapid snowfall rates of 1 to 3 inches per hour are expected to continue across Massachusetts Sunday night, according to forecasters.
Lawrence could get hit with around seven inches of snow over the weekend and face periodic wind chills of negative 20 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. The weather impacts are due to a wide-ranging storm that will hit much of the eastern United States on Friday where forecasts anticipate around 150 million people

Dangerously cold conditions continue across Michigan through Saturday morning, with wind chill values plummeting to 30 to 45 degrees below zero in some areas - the coldest temperatures since January 2019.
SATURDAY Arctic air stays in place with light winds and highs climbing to the single digits. Wind chills will rebound to -5 to -10 degrees by afternoon. Mostly cloudy skies are expected, especially near Lake Michigan. Some sunshine is possible east of US-131.
