The Chicago Chamber Musicians, from a concert at DePaul University, play the "Siegfried Idyll" by Wagner. This work was Wagner's Christmas gift to his wife on Christmas Day in 1870.
From this summer's La Jolla Summerfest, we hear the "Siegfried Idyll," by Richard Wagner (1813-1883). The music was Wagner's birthday gift to his wife, Cosima, on her 33rd birthday.
