The Packers have a new a new defensive coordinator. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Sunday the team is hiring former Arizona Cardinals head coach, Jonathan Gannon. The Cardinals fired Gannon earlier this month after a 37-20 season-ending loss to the Los Angeles Rams.
The number of open head coaching jobs that Rams assistants have interview for is dwindling by the day. The Pittsburgh Steelers reportedly plan to hire Mike McCarthy to be their next head coach, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. McCarthy previously coached the Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers.
Davante Adams will be playing in his fifth NFC Championship Game when the Rams visit the Seahawks, but he's still looking for his first trip to the Super Bowl.
