Julius Randle had 24 points and nine rebounds to lead Minnesota past the Sacramento Kings 117-103 in the Timberwolves' second straight game without star Anthony Edwards.

The Sacramento Kings and the Minnesota Timberwolves meet Sunday in Minneapolis, Minnesota, with tip-off scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.

Minnesota has won six of its past seven games, with its only loss being a 108-105 defeat to the Phoenix Suns last Monday. The Timberwolves (16-9) sit in sixth place in the Western Conference, 1.5 games behind the Los Angeles Lakers. Edwards will look to return for Wednesday’s matchup with the Memphis Grizzlies.

DeMar DeRozan, Precious Achiuwa and Dennis Schroder scored 17 points apiece for the Kings (6-20), who have lost three in a row and seven of their last eight. Schroder was back in action for the first time since Nov. 24 after missing the previous seven games with a right hip flexor strain.
