A winter storm warning has been issued for the entire state as the biggest storm in years starts in Massachusetts.

Massachusetts is slated to recieve as much as 25 inches of snow Sunday, Jan, 25 into Monday, as a storm that has swept through the country this weekend causing power outages finally reaches the Bay State, according to the National Weather Service Boston (NWS). A winter storm warning has been issued for the entire state through 8 p.m. Monday.
NBC 10 Boston meteorologist Pete Bouchard is calling for 16 to 22 inches in Central Massachusetts and Western Massachusetts, with warmer temperatures resulting in 10 to 16 inches in Boston and southeastern towns. Bouchard believes Cape Cod & the Islands will receive 7 to 10 inches.
The storm is still too far out to be sure, but here's what weather forecasters are saying about snow, ice and temperatures.
