(CNN)– Fans flocked to the movies to say goodbye to Stranger Things. Variety, citing sources is reporting theaters earned at least $25 million for showing the finale of the Netflix series on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. The final episode had debuted simultaneously on Netflix and in roughly 600 theaters.
