A fatal multi-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck forced the hourslong closure of the westbound 10 Freeway in Ontario Thursday morning.
The San Bernardino County Transportation Authority has crews working on safety inspections and electrical repairs.
All lanes were closed on the westbound I-10 at Interstate 15 in Ontario early Jan. 14, according to Caltrans. The closure began from San Antonio Avenue in Upland to the I-15 junction, according to the Caltrans highway conditions tracker before 7:30 a.m.
All westbound lanes of the 10 Freeway at the 15 Freeway in Ontario were shut down after a big rig hit an overpass early Thursday morning, Jan. 15. Lanes are expected to be closed until around 11 a.m., according to Officer Joe Garcia, a spokesman for the California Highway Patrol. The crash was reported around 3:20 a.m.
